Being constantly unbothered is an issue
You turn into a robot
Being unbothered constantly can make you a psychopath
It's completely wrong to be unbothered in a situation that you caused
It's not wrong to be unbothered, sometimes it's better in certain situations but people need to read the room
There is a time to be unbothered and time to not be unbothered
Associating emotions with weakness
Sometimes being emotional can make people take you alot more seriously
Especially if you want them to support something, if you don't care why should they?
Emotions are often associated with weakness due them being seen as feminine
That's why when a man gets emotional he gets shamed because if toxic masculinity when it's actually normal to get emotional because we are human
This brings up another conversation of Why do women have to do things associated with masculinity in order to be taken seriously.
We should be taken seriously regardless of how feminine or masculine we present
Associating emotional with stupidity
Just because i'm really upset does not mean i can't make rational decisions
Yes being in a more intense state of mind can cause you to think with you're heart not you're brain
However you cannot expect people to not be upset when something bad happens to them, people should be allowed to feel there emotions
Holding in you're emotions actually causes alot of issues and when you finally erupt like a volcano it's gonna be an extremely emotional moment
We are humans not ai, we should remember that.
Idolizing the mean girl
The “mean girl” is starting to get a comeback and people keep calling her a “girlboss”
This is an issue because this is just normalizing bullying
Many people idolize the mean girl because she lives life on easy mode, she doesnt have to care about anything because everything goes her why, she is unbothered
I’m not trying to say it's bad to like mean characters, it okay to like them but idolizing mean characters is an issue
You're putting ruthless characters on a pedestal and it's making you emotionless
