 okay so i UNDERSTAND not wanting to teach kids about slavery because of how cruel and sad that is but the fact that racism still effects us today is why we need to still learn about this. Why are we stopping kids from learning about a topic that is still so relavent? Also colorism is a thing a HUGE thing in non white races and effects people even now. Colorism comes from racism and slavery.... Like cmon i experienced it at a young age

Also we still learn abt the history of the holocaust and sexism cuz anti semitism and sexism are still very real issues 

america has a bad history and tbf MOST countries have a bad history its not an america only thing, if we wanna get rid of americas bad history then get rid if the rest of the worlds bad history and see just how ignorant ppl will be

And america just like every other country with bad history will not be able to erase it because the countries that were effected will always know about and the communities too.
